1957: Inchelium town baseball team

This photo was from a collection belonging to Marlow Johnston. Marlow, seen in this photo, passed away in January of 2017. He was a member of the Bourgeau family who was raised in Nespelem and moved to Inchelium to try to take over the family ranch in the 1950s, where he quickly caught on to the local baseball team.

Marlow said the Inchelium team played up into Canada and was always welcomed with a dinner and drinks following the games. No other player names were gathered from Marlow.

Nancy Michel provided the full roster, stating top row left to right - Pete Zaugg, Joe Baulne, Buzz Camp, John Smith, Don Carter, Mitt Quill; bottom row, left to right: Bud Stensgar, Larry Boyd, Dave Stensgar, Joe Boyd, Marlow Johnston. "I went to this game with Larry and Gerry Boyd in Canada," Michel said.
