April 7, 1932: Build on reservations

-Allocate Indians $100,000 — new houses at Omak and Inchelium

More than $100,000 has been allocated for expenditure on the Indian reservations in Washington, said Roy M. Bradley, Washington, D.C., superintendent of construction in the Indian service, who was in Spokane yesterday. He announced construction of a physician's six-room house had been started at Omak and a similar structure in Inchelium, each to cost $6,000.

The contract for the latter has been awarded to Ivan Abraham of Spokane. The Indian service this year will expend $3,000,000 in construction.
