Mike Wright of the grocery department of Barmans helped umpire a baseball game last Sunday between Hunters and the Indians of the reservation of Inchelium. The game was close and exciting, according to Mr. Wright who knows most of the Indians up there, having worked in that section of the country. The score was 5-5 up to the seventh inning and when the game ended it was 8-5 in favor of Hunters. A large crowd watched the game, most of them coming from Chewelah, Addy and Hunters. One ferry alone took 42 cars over the river.
