Boxing was added to our athletics program this year. Much interest was shown in it, especially among the grade boys. The following boys participated in local bouts with others schools: Corbett Swan, Louis Boyd, Mathew Boyd, George Quill, Donald Moomaw, George Butler, Steven Judd, Raymond Francis, Dale Kohler, Warren Houtz, Otis Haines, Melvin Meusy, Francis Green, Peter Zaugg, Larry Boyd, Larry Smith, Edwin Camp, Walter Swan.
