The Panorama League Tournament is 1 for 1 for surprise.
Chris Burch scored 22 points and David Tonasket hit two 3-pointers in the second quarter Tuesday night, leading visiting Inchelium to a 59-48 win at St. George's in the tournament's first game.
St. George's (13-8), the No. 2 seed from the South Division, defeated the North No. 3 Hornets 54-36 during the regular season.
The other Panorama tournament openers are tonight. Inchelium (11-9) will play tonight's Curlew/St. Michael's winner on Saturday for the berth to district. St. George's will play a loser-out game Saturday vs. the Curlew/St. Michael's loser.
Nigel Michel scored 14 for Inchelium.
