Oct. 11, 1951: Two escape from Ferry County jail

REPUBLIC - Two Inchelium youths accused of forgery were at large today after escaping from the Ferry County jail last night, Sheriff Ward Rupp reported.

Rupp said the youths wrestled the keys to their cells from the night jailer and fled.
