Inchelium defeated Grand Forks at Columbia ball park on Sunday by the score of 13-9.
The visitors started off with a bang, bringing in ten runs in the first inning. George Savage, who started for Forks, had no control over the ball and Inchelium hit at ease. This coupled with several errors by his teammates enabled Inchelium to score so many runs. O'Keefe went in for Savage and pitched a fine game, letting the opposing team have only 3 runs in the remainder of the game. After the first inning the local team settled down and played air tight ball.
The Forks team could not find the Inchelium pitcher until the sixth inning when they brought in five runs. They staged another rally in the ninth netting them four more but Inchelium had too big a lead over them.
The Forks team is playing Marcus this Sunday at Grand Forks and a good game should result. Grand Forks won the first game at Marcus by the score of 3-2.
