A.W. Dolphin of Spokane, who operates the Spokane Northern Auto Freight and Passenger Line between Spokane and Kettle Falls, was in Republic Thursday to have a petition signed by business men of the town with the view of extending the line to Republic, the route to come in by Gifford, across the river from Inchelium, and up the Hall Creek Road into this city. He plans to put on daily passenger and freight service and would give the Inchelium country a direct route to the county seat.
