A baby was born Sept. 18 to Mr. and Mrs. Lawson of Inchelium. Mrs. Lawson is at the home of her father Albert Jennings.
Mrs. O.J. Rollis of Inchelium died at Colville Sept. 16 after an operation for gallstones. She leaves behind a husband, four small children, a father, a mother, and a stepson and daughter, who were present at the funeral. The Rollis family were residents of Daisy for a number of years, during this period conducting a general merchandise store. While here Mrs. Rollis made a host of friends, who were grieved to hear of her death. Reverends Mumau and Person conducted the funeral services at Fairview Cemetery. Quinn W. McCord of Colville had charge of the arrangements.
