Inchelium Families: The Zauggs

This name originated in the Inchelium area in the 20th century with Tell Arthur Zaugg, of Switzerland. He married Anna Christine Marchand and had children Delores, Violet, Kenneth and Peter. The Zauggs lived in Barnaby Creek area, north of the town of Inchelium.

Tell Arthur Zaugg arrived in the United States on April 23, 1913. He filed for U.S. citizenship in the spring of 1917, according to the Colville Examiner.
