May 6, 1981: A farewell to Lou Hahn

FORT HALL -- "Farewell and Best Wishes" were issued to Lou Hahn last Tuesday at a noon farewell luncheon sponsored by Indian Health Service and Tribal Health Department staffs.

Lou Hahn, A Family Nurse Practioner with the Shoshone-Bannock Maternal Child Health (MCH) Program has bid good-bye to Fort Hall and Sho-Ban Country to take another position with Indian Health Service on the Colville Reservation, Inchelium Medical Facility.

During Hahn's time at Fort Hallwith MCH he has helped to bring special recognition to the MCH program for their indefatigable activity in keeping our immunizations up and over the 90% levels for our children up to six years of age. Lou Hahn was singled out for special recognition and a certificate was issued to the entire Sho-Ban MCH Program Immunization effort.

Lou has provided maternal child health services to many individuals on the Fort Hall Reservation. "He will be missed."

"Good Luck to Lou and his family in his new position on Colville", from the health staffs.

Although Lou Hahn is no longer with MCH -- the MCH Supervisor, Viola Rodriguez, announces that the WELL-CHILD CLINIC will continue to be held each Tuesday at the MCH Building.
