ELLENSBURG - The successor to W.E. Myers, county superintendent of schools, who recently resigned to accept the position of superintendent of schools in Roslyn, has been named by the county commissioners, who have chosen J.J. Charlton, former superintendent of grade schools in Kittitas.
A graduate of the State Normal School at Ellensburg and also of the grade schools of the city, Mr. Charlton was later principal of the Roslyn grade schools in 1895 and 1896. He has also had experience in Kettle Falls, Republic and Inchelium.
