-Daily service maintained between Spokane and Okanogan town
REPUBLIC - Beginning Monday, July 22, the Spokane Northwest Auto Freight Co. will commence operations into Republic. Daily service will be had from Spokane, connecting at Gifford for Republic. The passenger fare from Republic to Spokane will be $5 and the following freight rates have been adopted: First class, $1.30; second, $1.10; third, 90 cents, and fourth, 80 cents. The fare from Republic to Inchelium will be $1.75. A.M. Dolphin, manager, says that all freight reaching the Gordon terminal warehouse at Spokane before 5 p.m. will be delivered in Republic before 5 p.m. the following day.
