A.W. Bascum returned Saturday from a trip to Inchelium where he went on business. He reports that the inflow of people to the south half of the Colville Reservation is rapidly filling up that country, and that white people have taken over under lease many of the best allotments, the Indians preferring to hunt, fish and celebrate as a pursuit of life, liberty and happiness as of yore.
