Claude C. "Whitey" Shaffer, a lifetime resident of Inchelium, WA passed away November 1, 2006 in Colville, WA. He was born January 5, 1923 in Inchelium, WA, the son of Clarence and Alice (Judd) Shaffer. Claude is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores Shaffer, Inchelium; sons, Danny and wife, Laurie, Los Angeles, CA; Ron and wife Becki, Inchelium; daughters Karen Shaffer, Inchelium, Teresa Shaffer and Lorraine Colosimo, Inchelium, Christine Shaffer and Bob Louie, Inchelium; sisters Evelyn Maly and husband Larry, Spokane, Edna Gardner, Colville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A rosary for Claude C. Shaffer will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 5, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Monday November 6 at St. Michael's Mission. Father Bob Jones as celebrant. Cremation will follow.
