Inchelium, 50, Soap Lake 33: Down 21-18 at halftime, Inchelium captured a three-point lead after three quarters and went wild in the fourth quarter to earn its first ever state trophy.
The tall Hornets outscored Soap Lake 20-6 in the final quarter to win going away.
Inchelium's superior rebounding — a 55-35 edge — was the difference. Chrissie Shaffer had 18 and 6-1 Deann Camp had 15.
Forward Sandy Seymour scored 16. The Hornets never shot a free throw.
