Oct. 17, 1910: Alcohol kills Colville Indian

 Charley Louie, an Indian on the south half of the Colville Reservation, returned from Nakima sick and died three days later from the effects of alcohol.

John R. Cole, of this place, and Mrs. Effie Manning of Los Angeles, Cal. were married in Spokane Monday.
