Dec. 31, 1927: Fathers and sons get postoffices

INCHELIUM - With the recent appointment of Perry A. Watt as postmaster here, beginning January 1, three generations of the Watt family have been appointed to postoffices.

Alexander Watt was postmaster at Cheney from 1897 to 1905. His son, Clarence H. Watt, was postmaster at Tyler, Wash., during 1898 and 1899.

The appointment of Perry Watt to the Inchelium office was announced a few days ago.

James D. Jones, assistant postmaster here for the last year, has purchased a prominent corner lot and will build a modern garage and service station next spring.
