-Bullet from unknown gun pierces back of Joe Baulne at Inchelium
As auto loads of persons passed on the road here at 11 o'clock last night Joe Baulne, in one of the cars, was shot in the back.
Baulne was taken to the hospital at Colville and the bullet extracted. It entered his back and followed up the spine to the base of the brain.
It is said there were six persons in the car with Baulne and four in the other car. It is claimed the shot was fired from the second car. Officials are investigating.
