May 6, 1949: Ferry inceases asked

OLYMPIA —The State Public Service Commission announced yesterday the Gifford Inchelium ferry operator on the Columbia River in Stevens County has proposed rate increases of about 30 per cent for automobiles and 6 per cent for trucks.
